RUF Elsaesser Flammkuchen (Alsatian speciality)

A kind of 'French pizza' from Alsace made from a very thin layer of pastry topped with sour cream, chopped onions and ham. You need : for the base: 1 baking mix Flammkuchen 150 ml water, For the onion filling: 300 ml water, 75 g diced ham (or diced leek for the vegetarian option), 250 g sour cream. Preparation: 1. Filling - Mix spice mix with water and ham. 2. Crust - Mix the baking mix with water, until you have a smooth dough, form a ball and dust it with flour. 3. Baking - Line a baking tray (30*40 cm) and roll out dough. Spread sour cream over doug and distribute filling mix over it. Bake for 30 minutes on 180 - 200 degrees.
